Message I use here at my work..

We just them for AIR and Glue filters.. They do clog quite easily..

I am not saying that they would not work for the OIL application because I am sure that there are circumstances where they are used..

But.. All it would take is a little bit of silicone (from gasket maker etc) or some carbon buildup to make it to that brass and it'll clog it up in no time..

I would try and re-think your approach a bit.. and possibly relocate the filters, for easier access for replacement/cleaning.

NO, This picture is not photoshopped. It took many times to take this picture. Setting up the timer, shutter speed etc, then jumping on my bike and getting the tire to spin.
